What a failed download can mean
A failed download does not always mean the YouTube video is unavailable. The link may be incomplete, the requested format may not exist for that upload, or the connection may have timed out while the result was being prepared. Start with the smallest check and repeat only after the page gives you a new result.

Re-copy, then choose an available result
First copy the link again from YouTube’s Share menu and paste the full URL into YGet. If extraction succeeds but one quality fails, choose another available result—usually MP4 for broad compatibility—or lower the quality to reduce the file size and transfer time.
When the file downloads but will not play
If the result never appears, refresh once, check the connection, and try again later rather than opening many simultaneous requests. If the file downloads but will not play, move it to the device’s Files/Downloads folder and try a compatible MP4 or audio format. Do not rename a partial file and treat it as complete.
Tested steps
- Copy a fresh complete URL from YouTube and paste it into a single YGet tab.
- If one result fails, choose another listed format or lower the quality instead of repeating the same failed choice.
- For a missing result, refresh once and check the connection; for an unplayable file, retry with compatible MP4 or audio.
